Summer 2010

The big news this month is that we drove to Oklahoma City for the CSSC Shiloh Specialty. It was a great weekend of seeing and meeting folks and Shilohs and especially nice to finally meet Fred Lanting who gave a great seminar and judged the show. It would have been a good weekend with all of that, but to make it even better, Sunny won her first major getting Winners Bitch in a field of six very nice bitches, and then took Best of Opposite!





The rest of the spring and summer has been filled with the usual beautiful things to do in this part of Colorado.

Endless Winter

We haven't gotten a break from winter this year. Even though the snow stopped for a few weeks (to the dismay of the downhill skiers around here), the cold never did and the snow we got early in the winter never melted.




Sunny didn't mind a bit as she loves snow and has spent the winter chasing snowballs, going x-c skiing and trying skijoring for the first time.










Her second time out skijoring, she even got to pull hooked next to her 'sister' Cupcake (our 1/2 Aussie, 1/2 GSD).



No, she definitely hasn't minded the snow at all!
